Fisch Rod Progression Guide
Start Flimsy, get Magma from Orc on Roslit, then buy paid rods as C$ allows (Carbon around 2,000 C$, later Midas, Rod of the Depths, Destiny at high bestiary %). Enchant relics matter once you are in Vertigo / The Depths. Confirm live prices — Fisch patches rods often.
Early rods
Flimsy is free. Optional Moosewood buys: Plastic (~750 C$) or Carbon (~2,000 C$). Many players stay on Flimsy until Magma. Magma is a quest rod: Pufferfish for Orc on Roslit. It unlocks lava / hotter spots you cannot farm on Flimsy.
Mid rods
As C$ climbs, community ladders go through money rods such as Midas (often farmed from Forsaken Shores Pond savings) and then Rod of the Depths. Depths usually wants Vertigo bestiary progress, a Depths Key, enchanted relics, and diving gear for the maze. Read the live door — those gates have moved with updates.
Destiny and late game
Around 70% total bestiary completion, Caleia at The Arch sells the Destiny Rod (community price around 190,000 C$). Late-game oath / cavern rods sit behind high level, huge C$, and 100% shiny/sparkling pages. Those are endgame, not Moosewood goals.
Enchants
Enchant Relics add lure, luck, resilience, and progress speed. Enchant the rod you will actually fish for hours. A Mystical-style enchant on a Depths rod is a common mid-game target.
