How to Play Dress to Impress
Dress to Impress is a Roblox fashion game: you get a theme, style an outfit under a timer, walk the runway, then rate everyone else’s looks with stars.
What you do in a round
Each match gives every player the same theme (for example “Y2K,” “Villain,” or a seasonal prompt). You open the dressing room, pick clothes and accessories that fit the theme, then walk the runway when time is up.
After the walks, players rate outfits with stars. Higher totals place better and earn more Stars toward your permanent rank title.
Dressing room basics
Use categories (tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes, hair, makeup, accessories) and filters to move fast. Color tools and toggles on many items let you refine a look without swapping the whole piece.
If you feel stuck, start with one clear silhouette that matches the theme, then add one standout accessory. A readable outfit usually beats a crowded one in the short voting window.
Voting
You rate other players’ outfits (typically on a 1–5 star scale). Theme fit and a clean overall look matter more than stacking the rarest items.
Be fair when you vote — the lobby notices patterns, and Style Showdown especially rewards players who stay engaged each round.
Modes beyond the classic runway
Freeplay lets you experiment without a timed competition. Style Showdown is a separate elimination mode with its own challenges and rewards — see the Style Showdown guide when you’re ready for that format.
- Classic runway: theme → dress → vote → Stars toward ranks
- Freeplay: practice and screenshots without match pressure
