When a theme is vague, pick one interpretation and commit. Mixed concepts read as unfinished.
Build a clean silhouette
Decide early: fitted, oversized, elegant, chaotic, cute, or dramatic. Layering is powerful, but overlapping bulky pieces can hide the shape voters need to “get” your look.
