Grow a Garden Pets Guide
Pets hatch from eggs and give passive bonuses while equipped. Duplicates usually stack. Hatch eggs in the garden like slow crops. At higher pet levels (community guides cite 50+), a mutation machine can add extra pet abilities.
How to get pets
Buy eggs from the pet egg shop (and event eggs when they exist). Plant or place the egg and wait — rarer eggs take longer. Equip the hatched pet into a limited slot.
What pets do
Passives include extra crop value, mutation chance, auto-replant / lucky harvest, extra inventory, faster hatch times, and XP. Duplicates of a strong pet generally stack, so a second copy is often better than a random new species.
Pet mutations
A later update added a pet mutation station for high-level pets (often level 50+). It can add extra abilities or stat twists. Treat the live machine text as the rule set — the 12-mutation table has changed with events.
When to buy eggs
After a sprinkler and a full seed loop, eggs are the next scaler. Do not skip seeds entirely for eggs; pets multiply a garden that is already planted.
