99 Nights in the Forest Classes Guide
Classes are chosen in the lobby and persist between runs. They change gathering, combat, healing, or utility. Beginners should pick something self-sufficient; squads should cover different jobs instead of four copies of the same class.
Where classes live
You pick a class before a run. Unlocks and upgrades typically cost diamonds or gems earned from play and codes. Do not spend your first currency pile on a class you have not tried in a real night.
How to choose
Think in jobs, not hype names:
- Gathering / crafting: faster fuel, wood, or bench progress — strong for beginners and solo
- Combat: safer child rescues and camp defense
- Support / healing: shines in co-op, weaker if you are the only person collecting food
- Utility / traps / ranged: fill a gap your friends do not already cover
Lists go stale
The game adds and rebalances classes. We will not publish a fake “best class forever” table. Check the in-game class descriptions, then test one for a full run before buying the next.
