Your DTI rank title rises with total Stars earned from runway votes. Higher ranks are prestige milestones; some unlock cosmetics or Pro-related perks as you climb.
Stars vs ranks
In classic Dress to Impress, Stars from voting push your permanent rank title (from early titles like New Model / Rising Star up through high-end titles such as Supernova and Fashion Goddess at very high totals).
Exact thresholds can shift with updates, but the idea stays the same: consistent placement over many rounds is how you climb — not a single lucky win.
Milestone rewards
Most ranks are title milestones. Some mid and high ranks also unlock wearable cosmetics in collections, and certain thresholds have been tied to Pro server access historically (for example around the Runway Queen era). Check in-game collections for the current unlock list after big updates.
How to rank up faster
Play complete rounds, nail themes, and avoid AFK votes. Codes and free items expand your wardrobe so you can hit more themes cleanly. Private or friend servers can help practice, but public play is where most Stars come from.
Style Stars are separate
Style Showdown uses Style Stars as that mode’s progression currency. They are not the same pool as your classic runway Stars. Winning Showdown also grants exclusive set pieces after enough wins — details are in the Style Showdown guide.
