Style Showdown — Complete Guide
Style Showdown is Dress to Impress’s elimination fashion mode: a full lobby dresses under themes and extra challenges until one winner remains, earning Style Stars and exclusive rewards along the way.
How to join and how a game flows
Join Style Showdown from the Dress to Impress experience page event option or from the in-game Style Showdown entry when available. Lobbies typically fill to ten players before the match starts.
Each round: get a theme (often with a challenge), dress on a tighter timer with a more limited clothing pool than classic mode, then vote. Low performers risk elimination until a final group remains.
How to win Style Showdown
Theme literacy from classic DTI is your foundation — Showdown compresses time and adds restrictions, so players who already know theme “recipes” adapt faster.
Always vote when prompted. Voting helps protect Style Stars you’ve earned; skipping can hurt your standing. Stay friendly in chat — eliminated players often become the final jury.
In the finale, remaining contestants typically plead in chat while keeping their outfit on. Do not strip your look before pleading, or you may walk out unfinished. If no jury remains, Style Stars can decide the winner.
- Practice themes in classic mode and Freeplay first
- Adapt instantly when a challenge locks or limits items
- Vote every round and keep morale high with the lobby
Style Showdown challenges
After early rounds, Showdown often applies a random challenge. The exact rotation changes with updates, but the goals stay similar: force creativity under constraints.
- Item lock / required piece: build around a forced item
- Speed rounds: prioritize silhouette and theme color first
- Limited item counts: do more with fewer pieces
- Random item or status effects: incorporate whatever you’re given
- Pose or sync minigames: can appear in bottom-two situations
Rewards, Style Stars & Immunity Idols
Earning votes and surviving rounds grants Style Stars used in Showdown progression. Winner bonuses can scale with how deep the match went.
Immunity Idols are a Robux purchase option in Showdown that can protect you from elimination for a round — useful in a panic, not required to win if your outfits stay strong.
Winning Showdown grants exclusive set pieces (commonly described as a feather dress, gloves, and headdress across multiple wins). Win enough matches to complete the set. Exact item names can update with seasons, so confirm in your inventory rewards after a victory.
